Gischler is no stranger to the world of graphic novels. His most recent character creation, Deadpool, who made a splash this summer on the silver screen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is now receiving his own series. The fan favorite's much-hyped first edition DEADPOOL: "Merc With a Mouth" hits shelves July 1st. Expect hilarity to ensue as Gischler remarks in a recent interview with Marvel News that,"Some of the funniest things are also the darkest things...I suppose that shows you where my warped little brain is. Bad things are funny when they happen to other people. I think the key is knowing the Deadpool character. If you know Wade well enough, then the rest balances itself."
